The award recognized the best launches, innovative technologies, designs, marketers and impactful campaigns in the Indian automotive industry.
The 2022 IDPL Auto Awards recognized the efforts of brands and individual winners for the use of innovative technologies in 25 award categories.
The names of a few winners are Montra Electric, Hyundai Venue, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai Tucson and Audi.
The members of the jury were Dr. Neharika Yadav – Superbike Racer; Sumit Garg – Co-founder and MD Luxury Ride; Nikhil Chawla – Auto Tech Journalist and Founder of Unbiased Blog; Garima Avtar – Rally Racer, and Swati Khandelwal – Editor-in-Chief, Zee Business.
The second edition of the Auto Awards 2022 event was honored by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways. He highlighted how the automotive industry is employing our country’s skilled youth, decisions regarding electric highway from Delhi to Jaipur, how green highways will boost Indian tourism and his vision of India becoming the first manufacturer of electric passengers. buses in the world over the next two years.
Industry leaders shared information on electric vehicle charging infrastructure, insights into the benefits and challenges in reference to electric vehicles, the need to develop and advance innovative technologies, how consumer awareness is crucial to improve road safety, etc.
Speaking at the IDPL Auto Awards 2022 event, Gadkari said: “The automotive industry really has the potential to transform the future of the Indian economy. At present, it is experiencing a transformational revolution of shifting from a cost-centric industry to a quality-centric industry. In the next 5 years, India is expected to become the world’s leading automobile manufacturing hub.
