Nanoleaf Essentials aren’t the brightest LED bulbs on the market, but we still love them, especially for this price. A 3-pack for $ 40 essentially gives you a free bulb – they usually cost $ 20 apiece, however currently on sale for $ 15. They made our list of the best smart bulbs, thanks to their cool hexagonal design and wide array of color options.

Govee makes some of WIRED’s favorite smart bulbs, and these bars are no exception. They take the backlighting to new heights. The LEDs will react to on-screen visuals or music, pulsing, cycling, or performing some other action of your choice from the wide array of presets. This award is one of the best that WIRED has tracked. We don’t like the fact that there’s a camera built into the product without a physical privacy cover, although workarounds are possible. Single-serve brewers like this aren’t for everyone, but they’re extremely handy when you need a quick pick-me-up. I, Louryn, keep one on my desk. The small portion size and quick brewing are great for getting out of an afternoon slump (or staying up late on Black Friday). It also has a small footprint, so it won’t take up too much space. This chord brings the coffee maker down lower than what we previously tracked.

While it’s somewhat limited and you need an Alexa-enabled device to set it up, this smart light offers a wide range of colors and modes, including fun options like Disco and Underwater. You can enable touch control to change color, and you can change everything and disable it remotely from the Alexa app.

Colgate Hum

Colgate ($ 49), Amazon

The Colgate Hum (9/10, WIRED recommends) is the best electric toothbrush for most people. It’s small, it’s cute, and there’s an app that helps track dental hygiene habits. The app is optional, but it gives out rewards that can be used for things like extra brush heads. This is the rechargeable version; the battery-powered version is also discounted (although it dropped to $ 20 for Prime Day).

Another of our favorite electric toothbrushes, this lightweight brush is a good hybrid for brushing more powerful than a manual without too many bells, whistles, or teeth chattering modes. The battery-powered version is also on sale for $ 15 ($ 10 off).

Several WIRED staff use this sunscreen every day. It offers a pearly glow without a white cast or too much shimmer, and it’s light enough to layer perfectly with other skin care products. The entire Kinship site is 20% off.
